Our Services

Recovery Coaching

Our recovery coaches provide a peer-to-peer relationship to support you in sustaining recovery and overall wellness so you can achieve your goals.  Through one-on-one weekly sessions, a coach will provide guidance and encouragement in building a support network and developing a personalized recovery plan.

We will provide you with the tools and resources you’ll need while making sure to address any barriers and obstacles that might arise.

Peer Support Groups & Workshops

THRIVE offers volunteer peer facilitated mutual aid supports ranging from 12-step (e.g. AA, NA), non-secular (Refuge Recovery, The Sangha), secular (SMART), all recovery, physical activity (yoga, hikes), medication supported, harm reduction, to natural recovery.

Additionally, THRIVE offers interactive educational programs that promote wellness, vocational skills, economic prosperity and civic engagement. Don't forget about our substance free events, including Sober Bowl, holiday parties, dances, & game nights!

Our Operating Agencies

Family & Children’s Association (FCA) leads the operations and oversight of THRIVE Recovery Community and Outreach Center in partnership with the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (LICADD), Long Island Recovery Association (LIRA), and Families in Support of Treatment (F.I.S.T.).
